Pretty much a has been, place needs renovations

The location is nice, good and convenient spot at the edge of old town almost on top of a tram stop

Maintenance is lacking, stains hallway on carpet, lots of surface damage on doors etc. Airco is very loud, but not cooling. Gym was a horrible mess with stacks of unusable equipment, pool (bathtub size) and rooftop bar (closed) are a laugh

PERFECT LOCATION. But overpriced hotel.

Excellent Location near OLD TOWN and shopping.

Several functions are outsourced to external parties - and communiction between functions does not work fine. We arrived at 15:00 and had to wait 30 minutes before our room was ready. Not OK if you pay 388 EURO per night i October (we stayed 11 nights at full rate).

Lovely holiday, will definitely be back in Nice.

Lovely rooftop bar and pool. Very friendly and helpful staff

The highly stained hall carpets made it feel dirty and grubby even though rooms were very clean.

Main areas in hotel lovely but rooms tired and although superficially clean would benefit from deep clean!!! Mattress protector needed for beds But all of above should not deter from staying in this hotel

Excellent location but not up to 4* standard

I had to change room , drain in shower smelt and door all damaged . Very poor for price I paid , they did move me to a better room

It is 4 * but looking very tired and facilities should be better e. g fitness suite very stocked but too crowded , crammed so close together n room to properly exercise., no natural light or water facilities. Plus my first room was sub standard

Very good will stay again for my next work trip!

Great location, great room and bed. Staff were very attentive and helpful.

Breakfast was 6.5 out of 10 for me, but I do like English cooked breakfasts and I understand in France I won’t be able to get that kind of breakfast. I didn’t go hungry :)

Fabulous hotel, in an excellent location. Staff were very helpful and obliging. Highly recommend.

Rooftop drinks were a little expensive. €35 for two beer and one soft drink.

Great central hotel

It was in an excellent location next to the park near Place Masséna, easy walking distance to the Old Town, beach and main shopping area. The room was clean and bright and beds comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient and breakfast very good with lots of variety.

There were perhaps few frills for a 4 star hotel but we had nothing to complain about.

Good hotel, great location

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and after a long flight from South Africa made a plan for an early check in. The breakfast buffet was very good and the location was excellent.

We moved rooms twice. The first 2 rooms were on the 4th floor and were very clean and fresh but they were very noisy and the toilet in the 1st room was too close to the wall. We were given and upgrade to a room with a balcony when we moved to the third room which was on the 6th floor and was a lot quieter but it was very hot, didn’t feel as clean and there was a funny smell, maybe from the drains. We were at the hotel for 3 night.

We were familiar with the hotel, its location, and general good features, and expected a nice visit

Room was clean in good location overlooking the park, and close to old town with its attractions, The best was comfortable, and room was adequately stocked. The second d floor dining room was spacious but food buffet was far from the seating areas. We have stayed here before and had eaten in top floor ares which was more attractive beneath the pool level outside floor.Mainennce

Maintenance of rooms was good. materials used in renovation seemed fine, but over time will prove too fragile as the lacquer over good wood moulding and trim was already showing its would chip easily and become damaged looking in several years. Damage marks were caused by cleaning maintenance equipment bumping just with daily use. this finish system is good looking, neat and clean, but apparently will be easily damaged.

The location was good. 99% of staff was very friendly.

Old hotel. The first room (502) had an issue with the bathtub, and they moved me to another much better room. All premium, supposedly. Premium doesn't feel like premium. One person of the reception desk was very unfriendly. The breakfast is not worth the money. Better patisseries around with better quality. When I was booking, I wondered why it was only rated with 7 such an incredible good-looking hotel. Now, I also gave it a 7-point score.

Everything was fine with the exceptions above, there were just some things missing for a 4star hotel

The position of the hotel was perfect for access to Old Town and shops. Room had a park view and was adequate in terms of comfort etc. Breakfast was good with nice selection of food. Staff I came across were lovely and helpful, except in the bar.

Things I missed having were bathrobes, shampoo and conditioner (there was a shower gel/shampoo but I hadnt brought conditioner) and two comfortable pillows. An extra one was provided on request but was a very poor, lumpy quality. Also the fire alarm went off during the evening - think this was an error - but that highlighted that in fact there are no safety instructions in the room at all, so it took me a while to figure out where to go - there was no announcement either to explain. The quality of the Rose wine in the bar (by the glass) was very poor.
